As you begin to research and think through the vendors for your wedding day, consider hiring a wedding planner who is also a floral designer. Here at Jen Leslie Events we can do just that, we work with our clients to plan and organize all of the details for their wedding, as well as designing the perfect memorable environment. By using our signature lush florals, table top decor items (such as candles, compotes and custom props), as well as specialty linens, we can transform a space into a beautiful reflection of you and your fiance. 1. One Less Vendor to Coordinate With:
Whether we are meeting with you once-a-month in our Full Service package, or 3 months prior to your wedding in our Partial Planning Package (also known as Day-of Coordination), having your wedding planner and florist in one means less people to coordinate with. We can be your one stop shop for all of your planning and design questions. We’ll get to know each other better which over time will build trust and put you more and more at ease about your wedding (which is what we love to do!). When you change the table layout, or a bridesmaid is no longer able to attend the wedding, there is only one person you need to tell
2. We Intimately Know Your Color Palette, Design and Personal Details:
Not only do we know you and your fiance, but we also know your color palette, design and person details very intimately. We will select blooms that are the perfect shade of peach which matches your bridesmaid dresses and the paint swatch you’ve been referencing for months. We know which table your parents are sitting at so we’ll ensure they have the largest arrangement at their table. We know you’re anxious about whether or not your 2 year old niece will make it down the aisle tossing petals as your flower girl, so we’ll prepare back-up options, perhaps petals down the sides of the aisle in case she has a meltdown. We’ve got you!
3. One Team on Your Wedding Day:
When we’re executing a wedding as your planner + florist, we bring one cohesive team who is familiar with both the planning and floral details. One of our Coordinators will take the lead on checking-in with vendors, overall set-up and managing the timeline. The Owner, Jen (me!), will take the lead on floral set-up and overall event management. Each of us will have an assistant with special tasks throughout the day, so you’ll have a team of 4 people total, all from the same company, to ensure everything looks and runs smooth.
4. Less Hassle for Your Family at the End of the Wedding Night:
As your planner we’re committed to setting-up all of your decor and packing it up at the end of the wedding night for family members to take home (gifts, personal items, perhaps votive candles or cake stands that were rented). However, when we’re your planner + floral designer, we’re taking home the vases, candles, cake stands, specialty linens, etc. Your family won’t have to stick around to ensure all of the decor items are taken home, just your gifts! We find this to be a luxury for family members who have put a lot of time (and money!), into the day and are ready to go back to the hotel and put their feet up.
