I have known today’s groom, Aaron, since middle school. We grew up doing Young Life together, going on family vacations together, and our families are still very close to this day. I was so honored when he, and his fiance Kira, asked me to help coordinate their wedding and arrange the florals Kira picked out.
After a thorough venue search for just the right spot that met all of their requirements, Aaron and Kira landed on the vintage barn at Maplehurst Farm for their late July wedding. While the warm summer rain drizzled down, Aaron, an architect, and Kira, a social worker, committed their lives to each other along an intimate tree-lined road. With vintage china, DIY’d centerpieces by the bride’s mother, and paper goods designed by the groom, Kira and Aaron’s wedding day complimented their fun and easy going personalities. Guests enjoyed lawn games, delicious beverages and a rib BBQ. The sweetest part was the dessert bar that multiple family friends contributed to by baking their families favorite desserts and then passed along the recipes to the happy couple for them to enjoy for years to come!
Aaron + Kira- we loved being a part of your big day and feel so lucky to call you both clients and friends. Cheers to you!
