This IslandWood wedding on Bainbridge Island was F-U-N from start to finish!  This was a destination wedding for Lisa and Logan and none of their guests were from the Pacific Northwest either.  After meeting on a dating app and eventually getting engaged at Burning Man, this adventurous couple were open to getting married anywhere in the United States that was near a large airport.  During a road trip to the PNW, they fell in love with IslandWood and knew it was the place for their wedding.

Lisa and Logan chose a Rustic Forest Camp theme with colors of burgundy, eggplant, greys and greens.  They really worked hard to create a fun, camp like experience for all of their guests and that was evident in all the little personal details.  Upon arrival, guests were given a sash and the opportunity to earn badges for it throughout the weekend and participation in planned IslandWood activities would earn you badges.  Guests also received welcome gifts containing snacks such as cookies, chex mix and even brownies that were from family favorite recipes.  What a hit that was!

Their first look was on a suspension bridge in Islandwood and it was one of our favorite first looks ever.  They were surrounded by trees and suspended into the air which made for such a romantic moment that we won’t forget!
