The grand ole’ fourth is almost here! If you are looking to add a last minute cocktail to your BBQ tomorrow we have found the perfect, most refreshing choice.
This Red, White, and Blue Sangria from Cake ‘n’ Knife is both beautiful and delicious! With summer berries and your favorite white wine you can’t really go wrong. We’ll be whipping up a batch as we enjoy the celebrations with family in the San Juan Islands.
Here’s the recipe (slightly adapted from Cake ‘n’ Knife):
2 bottles of white wine
pint of blueberries
pint of strawberries, sliced
1-2 red apples, sliced
4 tbsp Grand Marnier
2 tbsp sugar (or more to taste)
Throw the fruit and wine in a pitcher and refrigerate for 3-24 hours. When ready to serve add the Grand Marnier and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Enjoy!
