What a beautiful day Kelly and T’Kope’s wedding was at Laurel Creek Manor. Set in the valley of Sumner, Washington, the surrounding green trees and lush gardens added to the natural décor and cozy touches! The weather can be unpredictable in early March but what a pleasant surprise to have sun shining. We had the pleasure of planning the wedding with the happy couple from start to finish and even did the flowers. We created a beautiful palette that resulted in a cozy and rustic atmosphere with purple, lavender, cream and sage green with wood touches.
During the ceremony we had the ladies of the wedding party seated at the front and the groomsmen standing behind them with the bride, groom and officiant centered in front of a beautiful fireplace. The fireplace was a unique backdrop for the ceremony decorated with candles and lush greenery. This unique set up enhanced the coziness of the intimate celebration with about 70 people in attendance. When we flipped the room for the reception, we used this same backdrop for the head table. It worked beautifully!
Kelly and T’Kope met at work and they still work at the same place. So in addition to family and friends, it was so fun to celebrate with so many coworkers as well! We had the pleasure of working with one of our favorite photographers, Wiley Putman, who was also celebrating his birthday the day of the wedding!
Thank you Kelly and T’Kope for allowing us to play such a big part in your special day!
