Happy Engagement Season! Love is in the air and we couldn’t be happier. It’s been so much fun meeting new couples over the past few weeks and hearing about recent engagements. Marriage is an amazing thing and we’re thrilled you’ve decided to make that commitment.

As you begin the planning process, and are hopefully considering hiring a wedding planner, we wanted to let you know about our 2016 availability, as well as answer a few common questions we receive.

Let’s start with the questions…

How many weddings do you book on a given weekend? One! It takes months to prepare for each wedding we are a part of, and we put a lot of hard work into your special day. We want to ensure everything looks beautiful and goes smoothly, so we want to give you our full attention, strength and love. Therefore, we only take on one wedding per weekend (holiday weekends being the only exception).
What makes Jen Leslie Events unique compared to other wedding planning companies? Great question! We are unique because our wedding planning approach is a blend of detail and creativity. We will walk you through the entire planning process, in fact we’re your own project manager, but we will also work with you to design the visuals of your wedding day. Most planners are phenomenal with the logistics, but not all of them can design your centerpieces, recommend florals, create custom displays or help design wedding invitations. We feel that we are uniquely positioned to bring the best of logistics and design, all while having a great time (we promise you’ll have fun).
I’m looking for a florist/dj/caterer/rental company referrals, would you be able to help? Yes! In order to provide you with the best recommendations that fit your style and your budget, we’d want to get to know you and your fiance. Once we have a better sense of the type of wedding you’re planning, then we can make the best recommendations.


What are the next steps if we’re interested in hiring Jen Leslie Events? Yeah! We’re so excited to be partnering with you on the planning of your wedding. The first step is for us to jump on the phone, or meet in person if you are in the Seattle area, so we can get to know each other. We love to hear about what you’ve planned thus far, what type of wedding you’re interested in and learn more about your style. Then we’ll work to put a custom proposal together for you. If everything looks good you can sign the contract, pay the 25% deposit to hold your date and we will begin planning!
