Not only was Amy and Alex’s wedding planned in just five months, but they were living in Texas when we first started the planning process!  Two months before their special day they moved to Seattle.

We designed an overall understated Pacific Northwest vibe for their wedding at Westland Distillery in Seattle, Washington.  We had lush greens running down the tables and colorful market flowers in the lobby, wood details inspired by the natural aesthetic of the venue and a splash of navy and lake blue in the linens.  It was exactly what they had envisioned!

Austin Ellis, who was on Season 6 of The Voice, was hired as the ceremony and cocktail hour musician.  He was wonderful and such a treat for the couple and the guests!  Stephanie from Chalk and Pine designed the chalk board signage and personally delivered them despite being very pregnant!

Once Alex put the ring on Amy’s finger, he did a little shimmy dance of joy-it was the perfect representation of Amy and Alex’s personalities – they are so fun and full of contagious energy!  Their day truly represented this.

Guests loved the sweet treats at the reception!  We coordinated custom chocolate bars as their guest favors and Amy’s sister contributed some beautiful homemade cake pops to the dessert table which also included brownies and ice cream as well as fresh Washington apples (Amy’s favorite)!
