Christine and Keegan share a love of the outdoors and are avid bike riders. Early on in their relationship, Keegan tried to impress Christine by going on a long bike ride with her. He struggled some to keep up but ultimately got the girl!
Inspired by the culture and beauty of Islandwood on Bainbridge Island, we went with a Pacific Northwest vibe for Christine and Keegan’s special day. We mixed heavy wood tables, ivory napkins and soft blush and ivory florals with greenery to complete the full picture. We always enjoy working with Islandwood’s team as they do such an amazing job. They also have a very different but fun menu planning process where the Bride and Groom get to sit down with the head chef and talk in length about foods they like or dislike and come up with a robust, custom menu.
The welcome table was so fun and interactive for guests. There was a personalized leather bound scrapbook where guests could add their photo and write a little note. They provided a camera and some props including a large cut-out of their dog’s head and a Wisconsin cheese head!
Keegan has taken dance classes for years so in preparation, Christine joined him in his passion. Their specially choreographed first dance was an absolute show stopper!
