After meeting Jonathan and Marissa don’t you just love them! Their wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty back in November, and I’m loving reliving this fun day through all of the stunning images by Ryan Flynn Photography.
Today I’m excited to walk you through all of the details from the wedding. Marissa and Jonathan selected a color palette of navy blue, blush and light greenery with textural accents of lace and natural wood. The final look was a beautiful balance of rustic chic that we carried through all of the wedding elements (florals, table decor, paper goods, etc.).
Marissa selected her paper goods from Minted, navy blue table numbers and escort cards, and cream menu’s and invitations. They even had their own logo created incorporating the shape of Orcas Island with their names!
The bridesmaids wore blush floor length gowns, while the groomsmen were in navy blue suits.
Nest, a local floral shop on Orcas Island, used bud vases on the long farm tables in addition to a lace runner and navy pocket folded napkins. Their florals were lush and summery for this holiday weekend wedding.
Rosario did a fantastic job with the food, it was delicious and Jonathan and Marissa even surprised guests with a late night snack of braised pork belly.
We love the attention to detail that Jonathan + Marissa gave to their day. Everything was cohesive and told a story about the two of them. Their style was classic and timeless. We can’t wait to do another wedding up at Rosario Resort soon!
Be sure to catch the last section of this three part series on Friday. We have Jonathan and Marissa’s wedding video to share and you’ll want to get your tissues ready!
