Now that we can fully focus on Thanksgiving, it's Now that we can fully focus on Thanksgiving, it's time to dream up our tablescape!

I'll be hosting my parents and my sister + family this year, so I'm trying to decide what elements to include as well as a color palette. We'll have 3 kids under 3 at the table, so whatever I do it needs to be simple.

Besides, simple is classic and always looks stunning like this #rosarioresortwedding here!

Cheers to Halloween weekend! The kids are Cheers to Halloween weekend!

The kids are getting dressed up and we are going to a little party with some friends. Not the trick or treating in our new neighborhood like I was hoping for, but making the best of it. I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween, but making every celebration/holiday memorable for my kids is super important to me, so I'm leaning into this holiday a little more.

How are you celebrating?
What a dreamy intimate celebration in downtown!

This hasn't been the year any of us expected, or planned for, but there have been some sweet moments amongst everything.

Many of our couples, including A + J here, choose to legally get married this year and celebrate big next year. I have always been a fan of an #intimatewedding, and when I saw these images from @tetianaphotography, I thought it doesn't get much better than this!

Hope you are holding your loved ones close and enjoying this transition into the holiday season!

Today marks the first wedding anniversary for thes Today marks the first wedding anniversary for these two (congrats 🍾). It also marks 1 year since my last wedding.

To be completely honest I’m not sure how I feel about that. A huge part of me is sad that I haven’t gotten to do what I love in a year. I’m sad for all of the celebrations that we were planning, and replanning and now anticipating for next year (🤞🏼). But I’m also grateful for the health and safety of myself, my family, my team, my amazing clients and their friends/family. I’m also so humbled by the support our clients have shown us as a small business, and we have hopefully shown them as we empathize with their situation and do all we can to be there for them.

It’s been an insane year and there’s no way to sum it up or condense all of my thoughts into one streamlined sentence (or two). So I guess what I wanted to call out is this 1 year mark. A lot can change in one year! Heck, one week after this photo was taken I gave birth to my second son and now he’s walking all over the place 😳.

I can’t imagine what the world (and my life) will look like a year from now...but I am hopeful for the future! I’m choosing joy and happiness.

Hi friends, Jen here! With the unexpected gift of time this summer, I wanted to let you all know that I am going to take a social media break from July 1st - September 1st. I'll likely pop on to do a story, or share something here or there, but I'm letting go of regularly scheduled posts for the next two months. It's something I haven't done in SIX years!

With this gift of time I am going to play at the beach with my boys, go on camping trips (something I never get to do in the summer because of my schedule), read more books, cook, and soak up the season. While I am definitely going to miss weddings, seeing my vendor friends each weekend and traveling the state for celebrations- I'm really excited for what's ahead. I hope to walk away from this time refreshed and ready for whatever the next season has in store!

We are still here. We are still very much in business...just taking a little nap to recharge.

You can follow me at @jenleslie for all of my summer adventures!
