Jenna and Jordan’s February wedding brought about a very unusual snow storm for Seattle but that didn’t stop their special day from happening! Despite some stress, chaos and vendors cancelling, the wedding carried on as planned with adjustments made where needed. The result was a beautiful snowy, rustic event to celebrate this amazing couple!
Everyone stepped in to fill in where needed. With the florist canceling, family friends went to the grocery store the morning of the wedding and with the help of JLE owner, Jen, beautiful bouquets were created the morning of the wedding.
The ceremony was held at Holy Family Catholic Church with the president of the University of Portland, Mark L. Poorman, officiating the wedding as Jenna and Jordan met and attended there! The reception was then held at the Pickering Barn with a theme of birch trees mixed with the colors white and eggplant. The birch tree theme was carried into their cake for the wedding party and the guests had a delicious dessert table to enjoy cookies from Hello Robin!
Jenna and Jordan had choreographed a line dance for their grand entrance into cocktail hour which everyone loved. Later, Jenna and her father showed off their skills in another choreographed dance which also included her mother and sister (who was also the maid of honor). Such a fun way to include the whole family in a special memory.
We are thrilled the wedding was able to come together for Jenna and Jordan-congratulations!
