It has been a busy year for Jen Leslie Events! As you may have read in my previous post, this blog just went live, but I’ve been working hard all year long and I’m excited to finally be able to share with you some of the highlights of the last year.
The 2013 Wedding Season was a busy one! I was able to work with an array of different local vendors and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the brides and grooms I was able to assist get down the aisle. Check out my gallery page to see more photos from some of the 2013 weddings!
One big highlight of the year came more recently, when a JLE wedding was featured in the latest issue of Seattle Bride Magazine. Emily + Kent were married at Herban Feast’s Sodo Park last July. All their vendors were really exceptional and brought together a beautiful wedding. Emily did an amazing job planning all the meaningful details and I was there on the day of to make sure everything looked just the way she wanted it to and that their big day ran smoothly. It was such a fun wedding and I was so honored to be a part of a local published wedding!
Teaming up with a wonderful photographer and some willing models, this spring I designed a styled shoot based on a Northwest Spring Bridal Luncheon. I wanted it to be feminine, romantic, and highlight spring time in Seattle. Tonie from Tonie Christine Photography beautifully captured my vision, the photos turned out better than I could have imagined! Her work is amazing and she was such a joy to work with. Be sure to check out more of her work here.
The photo shoot received great recognition and I am so grateful to Tonie, the models, The Corson Building for hosting, and all the vendors that helped make it happen. I had so much fun coordinating the shoot and I have already begun to dream up more ideas for the next one! I’d like to give a huge thank you to all the blogs that featured the shoot!
What a success it turned out to be!
It sure has been a busy year and I am looking forward to the start of wedding season! Be sure to come back soon and check out behind the scenes photos, tips and tricks, and of course, beautiful photos for event inspiration. Happy Planning!
